Protect the mixing machine
The linchpin of the production line in any concrete mixing plant is the robust mixing host, specifically the forced mixer. At its core, the mixing shaft is crucial, and to safeguard this vital component, our mixing plant ingeniously employs secondary mixing technology. This strategy allows aggregates to patiently reside in the silo. Once the powder and water are seamlessly blended, the aggregates are then introduced. Because the mixer contains two mixing shafts, each adorned with mixing arms and blades, directly introducing aggregates would exert significant impact force on these delicate components, leading to accelerated wear and shortening the mixer’s longevity.
Improve production efficiency
The primary rationale for incorporating intermediate silos within a concrete mixing plant’s production line is to address the discrepancy in batching speeds—aggregate batching often outpaces powder and water batching. Thus, a transitional silo holds the aggregates until needed, commonly seen in larger plants. In smaller plants utilizing a hopper elevator, intermediate bins are absent, allowing aggregates to await in the lifting hopper. Due to their weight, aggregates settle at the bottom; adding them prematurely hampers even mixing, elongating the cycle and diminishing efficiency. Thus, adding powder and water first fosters optimal mixing, enhancing overall efficiency.
