Central to this mixer is the mixing shaft, which we meticulously safeguard using our advanced secondary mixing technology. This process permits aggregates to temporarily reside in the silo. Once the powder and water have been thoroughly blended, the aggregate is introduced. This thoughtful approach prevents direct impact on the mixing blades and arms, which are mounted on twin mixing shafts within the machine. By mitigating the force exerted on these components, we significantly decrease wear and tear, thereby extending the lifespan of your concrete mixer.
Improve production efficiency
Intermediate silos are ingeniously integrated into concrete mixing plant production lines because aggregate batching often surpasses powder and water batching in efficiency. A transitional silo allows for waiting before the powder and water batching catches up, a feature prevalent in large mixing plants. In smaller setups using hopper elevators, an intermediate bin isn’t necessary since aggregates can simply reside in the lifting hopper. The heavy nature of aggregates causes them to settle, so if added prematurely, it impedes uniform mixing. Thus, adding powder and water first facilitates better integration with aggregates, subsequently enhancing mixing efficiency and reducing cycle times.
