Product Description

The Crucial Functionality of the Silo:
Safeguard the Vital Mixing Machine
At the heart of any concrete mixing plant's production line lies the essential component: the mixing host, known as the forced mixer. Central to the efficient operation of the forced mixer is the mixing shaft. To ensure the longevity of the mixing shaft, our advanced mixing plants employ secondary mixing technology. This process involves allowing the aggregate to patiently await its turn in the silo. Once the powder is skillfully blended with water, the aggregate is then introduced into the mix. Within the confines of a concrete mixer, two robust mixing shafts are strategically equipped with mixing arms and blades. Should the aggregate enter the mixer too hastily, it exerts substantial impact force on these blades and arms, leading to premature wear and tear, ultimately shortening the lifespan of the concrete mixer.
Boost Production Efficiency
Intermediate silos are implemented in the production lines of concrete mixing plants primarily because the efficiency of batching aggregates often surpasses that of mixing powder and water. Hence, a transitional silo is employed to hold the aggregates while powder and water are batched, a technique frequently utilized in large mixing plants. In smaller mixing plants utilizing a hopper elevator, there may be no intermediate material bin, allowing aggregates to rest in the lifting hopper. Given the aggregate's substantial weight, it naturally descends to the bottom. If aggregates are added prematurely, it hinders the uniform mixing of concrete, prolonging the mixing cycle and reducing efficiency. Conversely, by introducing powder and water initially, the mixing process becomes smoother, enhancing overall efficiency and ensuring optimal blending with aggregates.
